About us

Manifesto
GCA Architects is an architecture and design firm formed by an international team of creative minds, architects, designers, and technical engineers. We are an organic team working in an interdisciplinary way. At GCA we project with a vision for the future, integrating values such as quality, sustainability, the importance of artisanal elements and an attitude of constant learning and innovation. What characterize us as a firm is the search for excellence in design from a perspective of diversity and creative freedom, together with a reflective mentality towards design and architecture. This allows us to master all stages of the project, from conception to the finished work. At GCA we face all challenges looking for a solution that manages to exceed the expectations of each client.

Expertise
GCA Architects was founded in 1986 by Josep Juanpere and Antonio Puig. Currently, our management team is made up of 6 partners and 4 associates who have joined throughout our career. With a trajectory of more than 30 years, we continue to project under a consolidated international dimension with works throughout the world. Our experience has been recognized on numerous occasions, both for architectural projects and interior design. Among the most recent projects, which have received the greatest impact, the current most sustainable office building in the world has received the LEED Platinum certification, exceeding sustainability standards with 101 points out of 100. Our headquarters are in Barcelona, but we operate worldwide.

Corporate social responsibility
The principles of sustainability are an integral part of our work. We approach all projects from the a responsible architecture perspective, where sustainability is an inherent part of every design. To guarantee the perfect development of each of our projects, we design from BIM technology creating a model that controls all aspects of the building. In terms of energy efficiency, our experts advise and accompany our clients throughout the entire process of international environmental certifications, always exceeding the necessary parameters to guarantee sustainable buildings that will improve the quality of life in an inclusive city built for everyone.
