The renovation work of Planeta Office Building, located in Avenida Diagonal, in a strategic enclave at the entrance to the city, reinterprets the elegance of the original workspaces, as well as the visual connection with the exterior vegetation.

What is probably the most outstanding paradigm of biophilic architecture in Barcelona is refurbished internally to optimize its function as an administrative building. The need to renaturalize the city as a result of the developmentalism of the 1960s and 1970s was the driving force behind the visionary integration of vegetation by the architects Fargas and Tous.

With an intervention respectful to its original design, GCA Architects is committed to the best design based on criteria of sustainability and wellbeing for the future users. To this end, noble materials such as wood, stone and steel are introduced, which, subtly and consciously illuminated, bring out all the nuances of an unexpectedly renewed experience.
